China’s Ministry of Education (MOE) selected 184 primary and secondary schools as artificial intelligence (AI) education bases to better promote the development of artificial intelligence education. The Ministry announced that in order to facilitate the implementation of artificial intelligence education, all courses in primary and secondary schools will be given in accordance with information technology and general technology, education and training resources will be enriched in this direction, and teacher training and guidance studies will be carried out.
It will strengthen the guidance on the foundations determined in pilot schools, develop AI school-based curricula, and rearrange teaching methods. The Ministry announced that studies will be implemented to improve the digital literacy of teachers in order to expand this work to other schools.
