The buzz around artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI continues to grow, with many organizations offering AI solutions across multiple sectors. Leaders must make critical decisions about implementing AI and crafting a GAI strategy, while also considering ethical use, security measures, and employee skills.

The buzz around artificial intelligence (AI), especially around generative AI, is not going to subside anytime soon. Many consulting organisations, IT companies and specialised analytics agencies have already started offering solutions across multiple sectors using AI.

Leaders of all large and growing organisations have to reflect on the various pros and cons of using AI to deliver goods or services. They will have to make many critical decisions around using this technology, unless they decide to ignore AI and generative AI (GAI) at their peril.

Shishir Saxena, Head of Engineering, Fidelity International, says ignoring AI can be disastrous for companies. “The transition from AI to GAI took decades to unfold. However, adoption of GAI has shattered all records, catching industries off-guard,” he says, referring to the pace at which technology develops.
