Asus has upgraded its ZenBook model with the new Intel Core Ultra processor which brings AI features thanks to the neural processing unit.
Asus has unveiled its flagship AI-powered business laptop, the ExpertBook P5405 in the Indian market this week. This laptop is equipped with newly launched Intel Core Ultra 9 processors (Series 2) with an enhanced neural processing unit (NPU) for artificial intelligence tasks.
Additionally, the company has announced that they have started accepting pre-orders for the Zenbook S 14 (UX5406) in the country. Powered by Lunar Lake chips, it sports a 14-inch OLED display with the same Intel Core Ultra 2 processors and Intel Arc graphics. The Zenbook S 14 will be launched in the Indian market on September 25.
The price details of the ExpertBook P5405 are yet to be announced but it will be available in the coming months. The Zenbook S 14 2024 is available for pre-booking through Amazon, Asus eShop, Asus Exclusive stores, and Flipkart. The ZenBook S 14 2024 32GB RAM + 1TB storage model is priced at Rs 1,49,990.
Powered by Intel’s latest Lunar Lake processor, the Asus ExpertBook P5 boasts up to 47 NPU TOPS and around 115 total platform TOPS of performance. The company claimed that with this, the new laptop supports AI applications and tools that aim to optimise online meetings. It includes the company’s AI ExpertMeet tools with advanced features such as AI transcripts, AI subtitles, assisted meeting summaries, AI translation, AI cameras, AI noise cancellation, and business watermarks.
The laptop also has multilayered security with features like Secure Boot and Trusted Platform Module (TPM). For securely backing up important data with encrypted protection, the Asus ExpertBook P5 has an optional SafeGuard Backup tool. The company is moreover providing a standard international warranty with coverage for the adapter and a range of extended service packs with a validity of up to five years. Additionally, it comes with a year of McAfee+ Premium Individual Unlimited subscription.
The Asus Zenbook S14 2024 comes with Intel Core Ultra 9 (Series 2) CPUs with Intel Arc GPU. The chipset supports up to 47 NPU TOPS, resulting in increased AI performance. The forthcoming laptop features a 14-inch OLED display with 3K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It weighs 1.2 kilograms and includes a 72Wh battery for extended performance.
