Travellers heading to the Garden Route and Klein Karoo can enjoy lower rates thanks to a partnership between Cape Town Air Access and African online travel agency Travelstart.

The campaign will provide reduced airfares for six months, starting in November 2023 and again from February to mid-June 2024. Airfare reductions of up to R400 per person are available for groups and families, and flights to George Airport start at an average of R579.
Furthermore, the initiative will integrate with Travelstart’s artificial intelligence (AI) travel assistant. A first-of-its-kind in Africa, this tool will help visitors create personalised travel itineraries, access destination advice, and discover affordable trip and activity options, enhancing the travel experience for visitors exploring the Western Cape.

Alderman Leon van Wyk, Mayor of George, says the town’s natural landscape has a lot to offer, including outdoor activities and adrenalin-filled adventures, gastronomy, golf, trails for hiking, mountain biking and trail running, as well as arts, culture, and history experiences.
