A Drugs Disposal Committee of Mumbai Customs Zone-I, CBIC, comprising senior officials from DRI, Mumbai Customs destroyed 54.850 kg of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS), including heroin, cocaine and marijuana, worth Rs 410 crore by incineration in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday.They destroyed the drugs at Common Hazardous Waste Treatment Storage and Disposal Facility (CHWTSDF) of Mumbai Waste Management Limited in Taloja in Navi Mumbai.
