Global AI Summit 2024: Telangana CM Revanth Reddy assures govt support for AI promotion – ET Government

Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday assured that his government will provide all support for promotion of AI in the state.

With the main theme of ‘Making AI work for everyone’, a two-day Global Artificial Intelligence Summit-2024 kicked off in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Inaugurating the summit, the CM said his government will provide all support to develop innovations in AI in coordination with the industry experts. He said the government is committed to leverage the power of AI in governance for the development of the state.

“The government already took several measures for the use of artificial intelligence. We are planning to lay a strong foundation for our future in the field of artificial intelligence,” Reddy said.

Referring to the Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM), the CM said in partnership with NASSCOM, the mission will assist the government in implementing the AI framework in the Telangana state.

Hosting the Global AI Summit in Hyderabad is a testimony that the city will become an AI hub soon, the CM said.

State IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu, Principal Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and industry leaders participated.

More than 2,000 delegates from the field of Artificial Intelligence from all over the world are participation in the global summit.
