AI enthusiasts have been trying to use ChatGPT features on their mobile devices for monthsand many resort to a series of relatively complex solutions to try to integrate the chatbot with Siri, the virtual assistant of the iPhone.

Until now, one of the easiest ways to access OpenAI software on a mobile device has been to use Microsoft’s Bing app, which offers access to the company’s GPT-4 chatbot. Google’s newly introduced Bard, which is currently the biggest competitor to ChatGPT, has yet to be released as a mobile app version.

Both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store have proliferated applications that claim to offer a service similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT; some have turned out to be copycat apps that charge a subscription fee even higher than ChatGPT itself, according to reports.
