Bittrex Global To Cease Operations On Dec 4th Cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex Global — which has an office in Bermuda – announced they have decided to cease operations, with all trading activity set to be disabled on Monday, December 4, 2023. A spokesperson said, “It is with great regret that we announce that Bittrex Global has decided to wind down its operations. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the inconvenience it may have on our valued customers. “Effective Monday 4 December 2023, all trading activity on Bittrex Global will be disabled. After that date, customers will only be able to withdraw assets as part of the winding down process. ‘We understand that this news may raise concerns and questions, and we want to assure you that we are committed to facilitating a smooth and transparent wind-down process during this period. “All funds and tokens remain safe and secure on the Bittrex Global platform, and are available for withdrawal – in accordance with applicable law and our Terms of Service – at any time using the withdrawal facilities on the platform. All users are strongly encouraged to log into their account and withdraw assets as soon as possible.” When Bittrex announced it would close down its US operations effective April 30, they said, at that time, that “this announcement does not impact Bittrex Global, which will continue operations as normal for its customers outside the U.S.” Back in April of this year, the company said, “Bittrex Global remains regulated in two of the jurisdictions that have led the way in innovative, secure, and market-leading regulation of digital assets: Bermuda and Liechtenstein. Bittrex Global will continue to bear the title of the world’s most secure regulated crypto exchange.” #Cryptocurrency #Finance Category: All, technology
