How AI, whistleblowers and Nasa could finally PROVE existence of aliens

MYSTERIES of extraterrestrial life and UFOs could finally be unravelled with the help of Pentagon whistleblowers and space boffins – and alter our perception of the world as we know it.

Strange objects and aliens have always been linked to conspiracy theorists – but they are now under the microscope of government officials as they are considered to pose a threat to national security.

The search for alien life has been ongoing for decades and has still yielded no viable results.

But after US Congress heard testimonies from whistleblowers and military pilots about encountering mystery objects moving in a bizarre way, the government has started taking the matter more seriously.

One of the whistleblowers, former intelligence officer David Grusch, left everyone in shock with his bombshell claims that the US recovered “non-human” UFOs and attempted to reverse-engineer them.

Another whistleblower, former US Navy fighter pilot David Fravor, told how he witnessed the ‘Tic Tac’ UFO during a training mission in the Pacific Ocean in 2004.

The Pentagon office investigating hundreds of UFO reports said nearly half of the sightings are strange and require investigation.

UFO expert Nick Pope – who ran the UK government’s UFO research programme – highlighted the importance of whistleblowers coming forward.

And he explained how answers can be found by piecing together “pieces of the puzzle”.

Commenting on Grusch’s claims, he said: “He mentions many terms such as non-human intelligences and biologics, there is a lot to digest there but the magnitude of all this if it does turn out to be true is such that Congress and others do have to treat this seriously.

“I have heard in the last few days that more whistleblowers are in the process of coming forward, so this isn’t just an individual making a claim, it seems it is like pieces of a puzzle coming together, and it’s mighty bizarre.”

NASA released a groundbreaking UFO report last month as it pushes for improving tracking and using artificial intelligence to help search for alien life.

Footage shared by the Pentagon creates more questions than it answers – but also indicates there may be a possible security concern.

“The nightmare scenario is, this could be adversary aerospace tech being operated in our airspace with total impunity because people say, this is UFOs and we ignore that,” Pope said.

“So what if these things are Chinese probes gathering intelligence like we saw with the spy balloon, and they’ve gotten away with this for years because people have this narrow-minded view of UAPs and thus are throwing the baby out with the bath water.”

Experts have underlined the significance of looking into the sightings – not only for security purposes but for our own understanding of the universe and its future.

Dr Avi Loeb, Professor of Science at Harvard University, explained how the potential discovery of another form of life across the galaxy could entirely “change the meaning of our existence”.

“The stigma needs to be removed because apparently, objects that are not identified could be a national security risk,” he told The Sun.

“So it is important that we investigate all of them and check these objects are not being used for espionage purposes.

“From a scientific point of view, it is sufficient to have one in a million that is not from this Earth, not a living object like a bird or a manmade object like a drone or an aeroplane but something that is technologically manufactured by another civilisation.

“In that case it would have a massive impact on the future of humanity and the understanding of space, that we are not alone, and change the meaning of our existence and inspire us to venture into space and learn about new technologies and sciences that we are not aware of.

“These discoveries belong to mankind and science, and it’s about time scientists are given the data.

“If we find out that these are all from this Earth, then so be it and we can move on to other things.”

Dr Loeb, who’s leading the pioneering Galileo Project in the search for flying objects, said if another form of life is ever found somewhere in the universe, it will likely be in AI.

He said: “I think it is very unlikely that biological creatures would travel through interstellar space because it is a hazardous environment with cosmic waves passing the bodies of creatures.

“For example, humans can’t survive on Mars unless we go into caves to protect ourselves from cosmic rays and extreme temperature variations between day and night on Mars.

“I think if there ever is a functional device that visits us from another planet it is more likely to be equipped with artificial intelligence and not with a brain like us.”

It comes after two “alien corpses” were presented at a congressional hearing on UFOs in Mexico City – sparking crazy conspiracy theories.

UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan testified under oath and claimed that the mummified figures are not a part of “our terrestrial evolution” and are still unknown.

Pope described the finding “bizarre and surreal” and said it’s more likely that this will turn out to be mummified children or a hoax or a mix of human and animal bones, with a bit of model making thrown in”.

He called for transparency on UFOs investigations as he speculates there may already be a shocking discovery that perhaps is being kept a secret.

He added: “I think the reason for this UAP secrecy is technology acquisition, the country who first gets their hands on this technology could weaponise it.

“If this has been kept secret for many years as it is alleged, even if you don’t disclose the tech there is no reason why you can’t say ‘we are not alone, but we can’t disclose for national security and to prevent helping an adversary, but they don’t do that.

“Is it because there is something about this with a real dark side that prevents governments from sharing this, could it be something so bad that it shatters world religion and makes us question our place in the universe?”

It comes after a NASA scientist revealed that she’s absolutely certain there’s alien life out there.

Dr Michelle Thaller told The Sun: “I definitely think we’ll find life on another planet.

“I think that in our own Solar System, we’re quite close to it but once again we don’t have that 100 per cent thing.

“On Mars, we see chemistry that on Earth if it were here we would say is due to life.

“But the question is, how well do we understand Mars and are we being fooled by something?”

However, Dr Thaller thinks life could be much closer to home than that.

“We see possible signs of life in the atmosphere of Venus,” she said.

“Possibly underneath the ice in the icy moons of Jupiter and Saturn. The Solar System may be teaming with simple life, microbial life.

“We just have to get that 100 per cent certainty to say that we found it and we don’t have that yet.”
